I've been listening to a song recently that sums up a lot of what I've been saying. It talks about how life is complicated and we don't just get what we want. That we should take what comes and lean on others around us seeing how far we have actually come. There are always times when it is easy to say that life is hard or just simply impossible but we have to realize what we have done so far. The song also mentions that you'll never reach the stars if you don't get off the ground and if we let life knock us down we will never get anywhere else but where we are now. You can never fail if you've never tried and if you do fail that means you atleast tried and your one step above the rest. Plus, if were down whats the worst that can happen besides staying down. Yes times can be bad but everything is still how you take it. If you let the things that happen around you take you down then you'll never make it back up. But we have to look at our pasts. We need to see what we have come through and realize that we can make it the rest of the waybecause we've made it this far.
We have to be careful though. When ywere up it is easy to think that we can do it alone. We see what we have done and we let it get to our heads, boosting our ego. We let ourself think that we did it alone, when we didn't, and that we can keep doing it out of our own power. But it isn't like that. We need to remember who gives us the strength and the life to actually make it where we are now. God.

Day 5: The Grass is Greener on the Other Side
I wish it could be but not everyday can be as perfect as the day before it. It is like the saying "the grass is greener on the other side of the fence". There always tends to be that fence in the way. Whether that fence is big or small it is just one of many that are going to be in our way. That fence doesn't even have to be bad, mabye it is just one of those times where things seem tiresome and repetative. At that point all we can is keep moving forward looking towards the better times. Atleast this is what I noticed today while helping some people move. There was a lot to move and it seemed almost like it would never end because it was ver
Day 4: God's Choice, Not Mine
.Something that is easy to understand is that even as an adults the choices we make should not be our own. That is to say, if we have given our lives to God the choices we make should be His. Ones that He guided us to because we allowed Him. But there is one thing about it that I am still wrapping my mind around. Everyone has there own plans, some more than others. But in leaving our decisions up to God, those plans that "we" have made are likely to change to fit what God sees best. It is just something we have to sacrifice in knowing that we are doing what God wants. It is, in itself, a personal battle between self want and know the plan tha
Day 3: The Friendliest of Them
I've been noticing recently that in the past and present, friends have always been a huge part of my life, and my own change/personal growth. It's not something I am just noticing but it is something I am actually stopping to think about. I am quiet glad that God gave me the friends I have. I am just noticing part they played in it. God gives us friends for many reasons, aside from just having a good time hanging out with them. There are many reasons. I think that God gave us friends for one very important reason. They are there to help guide us, some more than others, and those who aren't mabye we are helping to guide them, mabye even withou
Day 2: Negative Defense
Let me be truthful. We all have a problems, some more than others. If someone points them out to us, we need to take them with a grain of salt. Then, without thinking we tend to defend ourselves. Especially since no one likes to have the negative aspects of there lifestyle pointed out and it is just a natural response to protect where we are weak. Let me get it straight, defending ourself isn't bad. It can just becomes bad when it causes us to disregard the "problem" or do exactly the opposite of fixing it. But, if we can get ourself to keep going and look forawrd to changing the negative aspects we might actually end up enjoying life more.
